The equipment manufactured by CES has the capability to be interfaced to a wide range of non-CES equipment. The interface can be simply an on/off switch, with the change in switch status transmitted back to the dispatcher center, e.g., pump off. Or the interface can be through a serial RS-232 or RS-485 connection which provides engine temperature, tank volume, speed or monitor sensitive cargo.
